Overview

Your day begins with a 9:00 AM pickup from your hotel, heading first to the Jozani Forest within Jozani-Chwaka Bay National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on a guided walk through the beautiful mangrove ecosystem. The main highlight is encountering the endemic Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys, and you may also spot other wildlife like Sykes' monkeys and diverse birds. After the forest tour, your journey continues to the Kizimkazi fishing village. Here, you will explore the village's rich Islamic history with a visit to the Kizimkazi Dimbani Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in East Africa, famous for its 12th-century Kufic inscriptions. Following this cultural and historical immersion, you will embark on an afternoon dolphin safari boat trip, with the opportunity to spot dolphins in the wild.
